Dolly Parton choked while talking about her husband’s death for the first time on TV… says it’s a really tough adjustment.
The legendary singer-songwriter spoke about her husband for nearly 60 years in an interview with “Today” on Friday… She told the host that she has loved Carl Dean since she was 18 years old.

Dolly admits to changing her patterns and habits after his death was a massive adjustment… Adding that she has been really thrown into her work since she passed earlier this year.
Dolly says she is grateful that she receives so many pathetic dol’s acceptance after Carl’s death… jokingly, she says she didn’t realize how famous he was!
You know… Carl passed away in March at the age of 82 – Dolly announced his death on social media, asking for privacy.
She also thanked all her wives at the time…and even if she couldn’t reach out to everyone individually, she told them she was grateful for their efforts.
Carl and Dolly were together for almost the entire career of her career until his death… he escaped from the spotlight and worked as an asphalt contractor while she gained international fame.
Dolly’s 2012 song “From Here to the Moon and Back” was written about Carl…and the two renewed their vows at the 2016 ceremony. The couple would have celebrated their 59th anniversary on May 30th.
