Donald Trump says he’s fighting back to the left for all Italians… Democrats claim that they’ve destroyed Christopher Columbus’ reputation, but he plans to bring him back to his place of honor.
The US President has worked on a society of truth to blow up Democrats by destroying Chris Columbus’ once good name… he announces that he is bringing back Columbus Day “from the Ashes.”
President Trump says his enemy on the other side of the aisle did everything in their power to “destroy Christopher Columbus, his reputation, and all the Italians who love him so much.”
He mentions an activist group tore a statue of Columbus in the aftermath of George Floyd’s murder… The president claims that the statue where Lotta woke up has risen for them.
Trump tells his followers he is happy to know that he is revenging his long-dead explorer and navigator… because he says Columbus Day ‘s the same rules, date, location, it’s just as it did decades ago’! ”
Notable… Columbus Day is still a federal holiday, but some jurisdictions chose not to observe it, replacing it with Indigenous Day to commemorate the millions of Indigenous people killed after Europeans arrived and colonised in the United States.
It’s still recognized by the federal government, so it’s really unclear what Trump is actually going to do here, or whether this is another way to attack the left and attack “wake culture.”
Either way, it sounds like Trump wants to pay more respect to the Columbus name… so expect some pageants when the holidays roll in October.
