Drake Bell and Josh Peck discussed the first release of “Seat On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.”
On Josh’s “Good Guy” podcast on Monday, Drake revealed that abuse investigations were being conducted during the break between “The Amanda Show” and “Drake & Josh.” So, when they were filming the latter pilot, no one had any clues, as Brian had yet to be arrested.
Drake explains that he has to go back to where the abuser is still around, and that he must compare it to having a monster in his safe space.
Josh remembered how Brian suddenly disappeared and felt something was off. When I asked Drake if he had spoken to Brian, Drake simply replied, “No… Brian is a really bad guy.” That’s when you start clicking everything for him.
Josh later received a text from someone on the show and said that Brian was arrested and said he would go to jail. Brian was eventually sentenced to 16 months in prison and had to register as a sex offender.

Bell previously shared that Peck personally reached out to him after seeing the document last year, officially ending a long-standing feud – and judging their heartfelt trip by the lanes of memories, they seem to be there for a long time as friends.
