U.S. Hurdler Dylan Beard Walmart Associate has become a truck star…still working in the store!

Truck and Field is full of stars like Noah Lyles and Shaikali Richardson…but there may be no better story than part-time Walmart employee and hurdler Dylan Beard, who manning meat slicers while pursuing his dreams!
TMZ Sports spoke to 26-year-old Beard (in South Florida, May 2-4) just days before the Grand Slam Track event in Miami. His story is amazing.
“I started working at Walmart in October 2023, to get the money to compete at a professional level in athletics.
Running as a student-athlete in Wagner, Hampton and Howard, Beard continued to run…and he got a great opportunity earlier this month.
Dylan was invited to run in the 110-meter hurdle race at the Grand Slam Track Tournament in Kingston, Jamaica… a new athletics. It was launched by Great Michael Johnson of the American Olympics.
Not satisfied with simply showing up, the beard gained heat (13.29 hours) for many people, securing a bag in the process and returning home with a $50,000 check!
Beard was invited to run at his next GST event thanks to his amazing performance…down in Miami on Friday (CW, broadcast on Peacock).
Despite his success, Beard still works at Walmart’s Deli counter, and he says the company (which still sponsors him) is amazing.
“I’m still a storemate, but I’ve been working here and there for a few hours. [Walmart’s] He is very generous with me. You know, last year I did about 30 hours, about 25-30 hours, probably five days a week. Now I feel more relaxed one or two days a week. ”
As much as he likes and appreciates his job, Beard hopes he can run full time with more wins on the track… he’s firing to become one of the fastest men in the world.
