Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli argued that the government is ready to provide all the support needed for a “deliberate” drama series that achieves social and national goals.
Madbouli recently announced the establishment of a specialized task force committee dedicated to creating a clear vision of Egyptian drama and media.
The initiative aims to improve content quality, maintain cultural values and align media production with national goals.
The Prime Minister’s remarks on Monday came in a meeting with members of an established committee led by Culture Minister Ahmed Huad Hano to investigate the future of Egyptian drama and media and the challenges facing them.
He said, “We have a common goal to boost the sector and promote its important role, and Egypt could achieve that.”
“The Task Force Committee was established in accordance with the direct directives of President Abdel Fatta El-Sisi and formed a group of experts and experts who work at the strategic level of this important sector to study the social impact of Egyptian media and drama over the past 20 years.
The committee will be responsible for devising a consolidation plan to be implemented in stages over the next decade to stimulate the role of media and drama in the reconstruction of Egyptian personality,” the Prime Minister added.
The committee, according to Madbouli, outlines the report on its research, recommendations and proposed implementation mechanisms presented to the Prime Minister by the Minister of Culture before being introduced to the President of the Republic.
