Former college football star Justin Blackmon was unable to fit behind the officer’s car during his public poisoning arrest… a police report was needed that TMZ Sports said it was necessary to transport him to prison.
The latest break-in with recent laws for the 35-year-old Ex-Oklahoma State Cowboys Receiver went on a round on social media over the weekend… Sports fans are keeping an eye on the dramatic changes in Blackmon’s appearance in his mug shot.
According to the incident report, OSU officers answered a call about a “larger black man” lying on the ground at 1:32am on Saturday morning.
By the time they arrived on the scene they were informed that the man had woken up and roamed the campus building…and upon contact with him, he observed that he was unstable on his feet and was wearing wet clothes with alcohol ee.
When asked what he was doing, Blackmon told officers he was about to walk to the house…and the officer noted that his speech was “unclear and confused.”
According to the report, he repeatedly stated that he would go to “stillwater” … but when he was told it was a town and not a speech, he admitted that he did not live in the area and said, “You got me.”
Officers were informed that Blackmon had been arrested for public poisoning, claiming he turned and placed his hand behind his back.
Officers noted that two sets of handcuffs were used “for his size and girth of his wrists” … and when he was escorted by a patrol unit, he was unable to “fit in the back seat” due to his body size,” according to the report.
Eventually, another unit responded to the location…and Blackmon was placed in a larger police car and taken to prison for booking and processing.
Blackmon is listed as 6’2″ in a police report as 230, about 20 pounds heavier than he weighs in Gridiron.
After a great career at OSU, Blackmon was the Jacksonville Jaguars’ fifth overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.
His professional career did not pan out… because he was suspended indefinitely for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
