Rhoc Allum Lydia Mclaughlin was “devastated” by police fatal shooting of his brother

The brothers of former “Real Orange County Housewife” star Lydia McLaughlin were shot dead by police during a traffic stop in California, TMZ learned.
Law enforcement sources say TMZ… Jeffrey Sham Sterling was riding a motorcycle along the Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach, about 50 miles south of Los Angeles.
Our sources say Sterling became “uncooperative” with Newport Beach police, and at least one officer shot him. Sterling is said to have died in the hospital later. Police say no officers were injured during the encounter.
The California Attorney General’s Office has launched an independent review of the deadly shootings to get to the bottom of what happened.
Lydia McLaughlin issued a statement Friday, informing TMZ that… my family and I are devastated by the loss of my brother. We appreciate the pouring of love and support from our friends, family and our community. We ask for your privacy as we grieve. ”
As you may know, Lydia was a fixture for season 8 of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” with Vicki Gunbarson, Tamra Judge, Gretchen Rossi, Alexis Berino and Heather Dubrow. She also appeared in season 12 of the show.
Sterling was 45 years old.
