Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt joins Fox News.
Fox says Hewitt has joined the company as a contributor and will provide analytics across all platforms. He will make his Fox News debut this afternoon in Brett Bayer’s special report.
Hewitt, a former columnist for the Washington Post, is currently hosting the Hewitt Show for the Salem Media Network. He was not a stranger in Fox, but frequently appeared as a guest.
In fact, he has been a conservative and mainstream outlet staple for decades, with weekday television news and public relations co-hosts showing life and times on PBS Los Angeles affiliate KCET-TV, and other outlet pages on the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Los Angeles Times pages.
Hewitt is also the author of 14 books, including Two New York Times Bestsellers. He worked for the Nixon and Reagan administrations before moving into the private sector.
Hewitt was a supporter of President Donald Trump’s agenda, but he is willing to criticize the policy approach he disagreed with.
