Trump to Putin: “Vladimir, stop!”

The Russian missile and drone strike against Kiev killed at least 12 people yesterday and injured 90 people. The attack led President Trump to express his rare disapproval of Moscow.

“Vladimir, stop!” Trump posted on social media, addressing Russian President Vladimir Putin. “I’m not satisfied with the Russian strike against Kiev. It’s not necessary, it’s a very bad timing.”

The attack came hours after Trump and his top aides demanded that Ukrainian President Voldimia Zelensky embrace a US-designed plan that supports Russia.

Speaking in the oval office yesterday, Trump said he had “no loyalty” on either side, claiming that his only goal was to stop the war and save lives, but Putin made “a rather big concessions” to end the conflict. Pushing on what those concessions were, Trump replied, “I stopped taking away the whole country.”

Crimea: Trump may acknowledge Russia’s claims about Crimea. In doing so, it sets a dangerous precedent for formal American perceptions to abandon 10 years of US foreign policy and force a country’s borders to be changed by another country. In Ukraine, the very idea is non-starters.

Diplomacy: Europeans see Ukraine’s future as essential to them. Officials say they are ready to continue supporting Kiev if the US leaves peace talks.

Imprisoned General: Major General Ivan Popov, fired for complaining about the battlefield issues of Russian military leaders, has been sentenced to five years in prison for corruption.

Pakistan said it would close airspace to Indian airlines, cut Islamabad’s diplomatic staff and order India to halt all trade with India. India has not officially identified the group behind the attack near Pahargam town on Tuesday. Pakistan has denied involvement.

But people are worried as Indian officials all over Pakistan suggest a possible military strike. Television reports are filled with defense analysts warning of unpredictable outcomes if hostilities intensify.

Details: After India suspends its serious water treaty, Pakistan said attempts to block the river would be “considered an act of war.” Pakistan relies on water from the Indus River system flowing through India for around 90% of agriculture. This is something else you need to know.

Pope Francis will be buried tomorrow

The Vatican yesterday, following his will, published the first images of Pope Francis’ tomb, a simple and unadorned resting place. The tomb is made of marble and is marked with the inscription “Franciscus.”

Tens of thousands of Catholics pay tribute to Francis, and their bodies are located in the province of St. Peter’s Cathedral. His funeral will be held tomorrow. This is what you’re expecting.

Was Shakespeare a bad husband?

For centuries, it was believed that William Shakespeare lived a literary life in London, leaving his wife and children behind. However, new research undermines his views as a distant, neglectful husband about his wife, Anne Hathaway.

New clues about their relationship come from fragments of 17th century letters addressed to Mrs. Shaxpeare, discovered in 1978 in the 1608 book restraint. Read about new discoveries.
