The former managing director of Kanilia Family Farms (KGI) spoke about the role and responsibility of all Gambians in the national development and maintenance of peace and stability.
Pa Bojang called on all Gambians to gather behind President Adama Barrow by acquiring full ownership of the nation-building in the protection of citizens’ lives and property. He added that blaming President Barrow is not a solution.
Speaking at a food aid distribution venue hosted by CEO VDF Modou Turo Darboe, Bojang, who worked under former President Yahya Jammeh, said that Barrow had appointed the country to a higher height while appointing the minister and chief of services to praise Modou Turo Darboe for supporting the people of Holy Month in Holy Ramadan.
Bojnag also sought peace and stability for politicians by encouraging them to forget about political differences and focus on the development of the country. According to him, the Gambia is known for its peace, so people should maintain it by looking at the national interest first than others.
“We should always adopt a culture of fraternal love and maintain family relationships that can promote our development aspirations,” Bojang said.
According to him, President Barrow would not be in a position to know everything about what was going on, and that’s why he appointed the head of the department and agency. Thus he urged them to double their efforts to help the President protect the lives and property of its citizens.
