Gavin Newsom says Democrats will continue to work with conservatives on their podcasts as they have to talk to Republicans… if they start betting in polls.
The California governor revealed his “This is Gavin Newsom” pod while chatting with Bill Maher on a “real-time” episode on Friday night…and dismissed critics who say they shouldn’t be right-wing leaders or virus figures like Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk.
Newsom admits that “democratic brands are now toxic,” and believes his party needs to find a common basis with GOP opponents to turn things around on Election Day.
Maher praised the strategy and said they had to talk to them as they won.

But Bill also tore President Trump’s followers apart because he became a cult-like thing. His “new rules” segment was a sc-fire criticism of GOP politicians who smoke up to 47 in every way.
He gave Joe Rogan a prop, saying that the trade war with our Northern companions was “silly”… and reminded Maga, which means being a free thinker.
Like Governor Newsom, Maher’s point is… you have to look in the mirror and acknowledge what they need to change, but Republicans are willing to do the same.
