Hagen54 is a new 54-hole golf tournament to be held at Royal Cincucuport, Royal Sinksport and Royal St. Georges in Kent, UK from July 23-24, with global golf marketing agency GMS announcing a partnership that will provide comprehensive public relations support to the event and strengthen North American brand awareness and market presence.
In the first year of Hagen 54, reaching North American golf travelers is essential to maintain successful events for years to come. GMS, which opened new offices in both North America and the UAE in January, has the opportunity to showcase not only a unique two-day event, but also explain why the southeast coast of England is one of the world’s most amazing golf destinations.
“We encourage you to leverage GMS resources on the Hagen 54 global scale,” says Colin Sinclair, secretary at Royal St. George. “This is an exciting year for each of the three clubs on the Kent Coast that are only within ten minutes of each other. The July event highlights why this part of the UK is special.”

Hagen 54 celebrates Legacy Walter Hagen and Jim Burns, who completed custom routing for three open championship venues in 1920, for completing custom routing for three open championship venues in one day. Players have the privilege of playing the same routing as Hagen, and Burns has an unforgettable experience with some of the best layouts in the world.
The itinerary begins with an optional round of golf at either Prince or Royal Cinque Port on Wednesday, July 23rd, followed by a welcoming reception and a barbecue at Royal Cinque Port Golf Club. On Thursday, July 24th, the main event will begin with the start of the shotgun at dawn, including on-course catering, caddies available on request, and post-golf evening ups celebrating the achievements of the day.
Golfers taking part in Hagen 54 not only enjoy world-class golf on these three link courses, but also the friendship and challenges that will complete this iconic route with friends and family. Prince’s golf clubs appreciate their important role in welcoming and providing participants with a truly memorable experience.
“It was only dreamt of many people having such an unprecedented event where golfers play three open venues on the same day,” continues Sinclair. “Now it’s important to make sure that all golfers travel to the southeastern England and know this special opportunity to experience this world-class offering for themselves.”
For groups traveling from outside the UK, Hagen54 is easily accessible from Gatwick and Heathrow airports. The former takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes by car, while the latter takes 2 hours and 30 minutes. Golfers can also use public transport from Heathrow via Charing Cross or St. Pancras train stations from central London.
