Sources said the band shook for hours and performed all the biggest hits while the camera rolled. That is, these lucky super fans recorded free Green Day concerts.
It was certainly a tight ship – fans had to request tickets in advance, and casting calls came with a laundry list of forbidden items… including backpacks, outside food, gum, chairs and more.

Fans were encouraged to be able to accommodate the camera with punk outfits and their favorite green day merchandise, and phones were taken to the door to prevent leaks.
Produced by Live Nation Entertainment, the film is a coming-of-age story about three peers played by Mason Thames, Kyler Coffman and Ryan Fouste. They chased their rock star dreams all the way to LA and accidentally thought the band was opening on Green Day on a big year.
For those friends, but for these fans, perhaps they’re walking down the “Broken Dream Boulevard”? It was the ultimate Hollywood encore!
