Lauren Marino is employed at the Port of New Orleans as Vice President of Foreign Affairs and Chief of Staff.
Marino has held many executive roles for the Jefferson Parish Government and has recently served as a senior assistant parish lawyer. She was also the Chief Administrative Assistant, Director of the Inspection and Code Executive and Assistant District Attorney of the Diocese.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Michigan and a Law degree from Tulane Law School.

GlobalStar has added two employees to its leadership team.
Tamer Kadous leads the terrestrial spectrum and network solutions business. He is former vice president of wireless engineering at XCOM Labs and Senior Engineering Director at Qualcomm.
He holds a PhD in Wireless Communications from the University of Wisconsin Madison University and is a graduate of the Wharton School General Administration Program.
Daaman Hejmadi leads the wholesale satellite capabilities business. Prior to joining GlobalStar, Hejmadi held various executive positions, including Vice President of Engineering at Qualcomm and Corporate Vice President of Intel.
He received his bachelor’s degree in physics/electronics from the Institute of Higher Education at Sri Satya Sai, a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the Institute of Indian Science, a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst University, and a master’s degree in organizational behavior and finance from the University of California, Berkeley.
