The Indo-Pacific is increasingly leading the foreign policy agenda in both the US and Europe. At a time when order based on international regulations is increasingly contested, the GMF’s Indo-Pacific program coordinated US-European approach to common regional challenges, building closer US-European partnerships.
The Indo-Pacific Program promotes the mutual fertilization of ideas and potential policy solutions in the international, economic and security policy sectors through long-standing Signature Track 1.5 dialogues with stakeholders in China, India, Japan and Taiwan. As the US continues to build coalitions in the region and Europe is developing its own Indo-Pacific strategy, GMF Indo-Pacific insights and networks have never been more important and unrelated.
Fellows and staff of the Indo-Pacific program manage an active set of policy programs, conduct in-depth research, publish regular newsletters and podcasts, and frequently provide articles and commentary to a wide range of international publications and news outlets.
