Welcome to Debrief, a Sky Sports column where Adam Bate uses a blend of data and opinions to look back at some of the key stories from his latest Premier League matches. this week:
For Murphy in Newcastle, it’s more than a hot streak
Andre was the center of the wolf revival
A stunning strike of just a few of Baleba’s packaging
Murphy is currently a star of Newcastle
Highlights from the Newcastle and Ipswich Premier League match
Since the beginning of December, there have only been two players in the Premier League ranked in the top 10 in both goals and assists. It’s not a surprise to many that Mohamed Sara of Liverpool is one of them. The other is Jacob Murphy from Newcastle.

With eight goals and nine assists in the competition since then, Murphy has been a right-wing revelation. The 30-year-old has started all Premier League matches since being recalled in early December in a 3-3 draw against Sarah Liverpool.
Murphy technically added to these goals and didn’t help with the tally in a 3-0 victory over Ipswich, but it was his smart run that led Newcastle to draw a foul that scored an opening penalty. He also played the pass before the pass on the second goal.

That happens a lot. There is a metric that calculates the total goals of all ownership that an individual player is involved in. During this period, this uncaped British Murphy will be behind Sarah and Lewis Diaz alone.
How about the numbers a little more? There were 87 crosses from open play. Murphy is in the top 10 at high speeds and covers distance while driving. He’s covered in it and running in duplicate.

“Full credit to Jacob,” Jason Tyndal said recently. “He was at the football club for a long time, but I can be sure whether he was the person who signed the beginning of the season or from somewhere that signed it in January.
He has a point. Murphy’s form has become more than a hot offense, more than a placeholder for a big aspirational team. Harvey Burns and Anthony Gordon compete for a spot on the left, but he simply became one of Newcastle’s best players.
Andre brings balance to the wolves
Highlights from the Wolf and Leicester Premier League match
Back in November, it’s easy to believe that the Wolves have yet to win the Premier League under Gary O’Neill. Andre saw from the bench as an unused replacement for Crystal Palace when Mario Remina came to Tommy Doyle in Molina.
At the time, the Brazilian international midfielder signed in the second half of the transfer window from Fulminence and was recognized as a promised player, not something the team needed. Almost six months later, Andre had received yet another standing ovation.
He not only began his sixth consecutive Wolves victory under the club’s Premier League record, Vitor Pereira, but also starred in them. Andre was way too good for Leicester with Saturday’s 3-0 victory, but he was way out of the way and too classy.
Image: Andre has been an outstanding performer since Vitre Pereira took over with the Wolf.
There were seven tackles, but there were more tackles on the pitch than anyone else, but more on Premier League weekend. He also completed 48 of his 53 passes. He is an elite ball winner, but he is also the one who can set the tempo for his team.
Matheus Cunha was a hero with Leicester with goals and two assists, but then spoke to Pereira at a subsequent press conference, which was the opportunity to ask what he would ask about his small powerhouse. “In our team, Andre is balance,” he replied.
“He’s a player to link defenders to offense. If he loses his position, we’ve lost our balance and we need to be intelligent so we don’t lose his position.
Cunha may get his big move soon, but it’s not so easy to choose which of the wolf Brazilians will have the best career. There’s Joao Gomes, but Andre was even younger at 23 and had already improved most of the midfield. It’s not bad considering his position in November.
And finally… a special moment from Baleva
Highlights from Brighton and West Ham Premier League matches
Fabian Hazeler spoke after Merritt sticking to the plan as Brighton won 3-2 with West Ham from the second half of the game. Moving Jankova Minte to the left certainly paid off, but Hazeler couldn’t claim a lot of credit from the winner.
It was a “special moment” from a special player by Carlos Valleva, he explained. “We’ve been working on tactics that require goals in the last moments. It wasn’t a tactic,” Lewis Dunk told Sky Sports. “But he puts it in the top corner and Gaffer can’t say anything.”
According to the expected Goals model, Baleba’s strike was one effort from where it was struck, but such a method was similar to one thousandth of a thousandth from a considerable target of the width of the right post of Alphonse Areola. Beauty.

It was fitting that he was hit by a baleva. At 21, he is already a mid-Brighton colossus. He has earned ownership nine times on the pitch than anyone else. His four tackles were four times the combined West Ham team.
Your teammates have also completed many passes and think of a photo build of the all-round midfielder that is very important for Brighton, a photo build of the club’s other injured season consistency beacon. There will be even more special moments for Baleba.
