90-year-old actress Jean Marsh dies… “Willow” Return to Oz’ Star

Jean Marsh is a longtime British star who appeared in hit ’80s films – has died… confirmed by TMZ.
Leslie Duff – Marsh’s longtime agent – says Jean passed away on Sunday, sharing a statement from Michael Lindsay Hogg, a pioneer in the music video industry and Marsh’s PAL pioneer.
Lindsay Hogg says he and Marsh have been around for nearly 60 years and have spoken almost every day at the past 40 years… She was a wise, funny, pretty, kind person, and talented as both an actress and a writer.
Marsh began his screen career in the late 1940s… before grabbing the bitpart in “The Twilight Zone” and “I Spy,” he appears in a series of beliefless roles in a small show before winning a small role in Elizabeth Taylor-led flick “Cleopatra.”
Jean attracted British attention in the mid-1970s by creating a “second floor, downstairs” show.
The show, in which Marsh played the character Roseback, ran in the UK from 1971 to 1975 and in the US from 1974 to 1977.
In the 1980s, Marsh won several notable roles… playing the villain Queen Bab Molda in Ron Howard and playing George Lucas’ fantasy drama Willow, performing several recurring characters in the classic “Doctor Who” series.
Among her numerous other credits… “Back to Oz”, “Connectic Yankee of King Arthur’s Court”, “Murder”, she wrote”, “Dangerfield”, “Grantchester”, “Love Boat”, “Goliath is waiting”.
Marsh recreated her role as Queen Bab Molda in the 2022 TV spinoff of “Willow”… marked her final screen appearance before her death.
Jean was 90 years old.
