Jeff Corwin thinks that humans are too far away to save species… It points out that retrieving miserable wolves is a considerable scientific achievement – but there are now many endangered species seeking miserable help.
Wildlife Conservationists joined us on Wednesday on “TMZ Live” … and he drove the details of bringing back the wolves from extinction – likening them to the way scientists returned dinosaurs to “Jurassic Park.”
Corwin explains that these are not purebred wolves… but they are as close as humans as they were given death over 10,000 years ago.
JC says there is scientific value in retrieving animals for a long time…but he cannot say the same from a conservation standpoint.
Corwin sees this as a classic problem of throwing money at future solutions rather than focusing on current problems… instead of focusing on improving Earth, look for ways to live on Mars.
Jeff adds that there are many great animal species that are extinct…and as millions of dollars of huge biological sciences have been spent retrieving the tragic wolves from extinction, Jeff says it can save around 80 remaining Javanese rhinoceros in the world.
Obviously, George RR Martin is the author of a series that inspired “Game of Thrones,” featuring disastrous wolves, and gets excited by the company’s work and takes a photo with the two puppies.
Corwin knows there is value in retrieving a miserable wolf…but he’s howling for alternative uses for wildlife conservation.
