John Elway was “devastating and heartbroken” over Jeff Sperbeck’s death.

John Elway breaks the silence over the death of his longtime agent and best friend… He says he is absolutely crushed by tragedy.
“I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the death of my best friend, business partner and agent Jeff Sperbeck. There are no words that truly express the deep sadness I feel at the sudden loss of someone who has meant so much to me,” the Double Super Bowl winner wrote.
Elway continued… “My heart and deep sympathy go to Jeff’s wife, Kori, his children Carly, Sam, Jackson, and everyone who knew and loved him.
TMZ Sports broke the story earlier this week. John and Jeff, together with some of their family, left the Stage Post Party around 7pm on Saturday when Spurbeck fell from a golf cart driven by a Hall of Fame quarterback.
Jeff hit his head against the ground and suffered a traumatic brain injury.
Elway immediately called for 911… However, despite the best efforts of the doctor and doctor, John’s partner and friend were unable to save.
The doctors kept the 62-year-old on life support and kept the organs until they were harvested for donation.
Sperbeck was declared dead at 1:10am on Wednesday.
Law enforcement began investigating the accident, despite initially not responding to the scene.
