John Voight We need to save Hollywood… before it collapses like Detroit

John Voight says he and President Donald Trump are working together to save Hollywood… “Because of the way things are going, he thinks everything can go down the drain like Detroit, Michigan.
Since Potus announced the 100% tariff on films made outside the US, the actor has given Variety their first interview…and he said he wanted to keep Hollywood up by the necessary means.

Voight says Tinseltown really needs help…and that’s good news that Prez really cares about the film industry.
He said, “You can’t go down the drain like Detroit… This should not be political. You don’t know the political identities of the people we spoke to. I’ve spoken with a lot of people here. I don’t distinguish them by party affiliation.”
Voight says Trump will get back on a good plan… “Because he wants Hollywood to return to his golden age.
Aside from the shots of straying in Detroit, Voight says he and President Trump feel both are being treated unfairly… The political battle is over, JV adds – now it’s about getting together and bringing filmmaking back to America.

Hollywood people have had mixed reactions to Trump, who announced he would be enforcing 100% tariffs on all foreign-made flicks – like actor and comedian Adam Carola, in favor… Superproducer Charles Wesler says it’s a terrible idea.
Either way, it seems Voight is making serious progress…but it’s debate whether it’s actually going to save Hollywood.
