
Golf Club’s new bar and grille celebrate the grand opening
The Valle Vista Golf Club will invite the public to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30am Wednesday for the grand opening of Sandbaggers Bar and Grill, 755 E. Main St., Greenwood.
The festival includes a lightweight snack and a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates for SandBaggers Bar and Grill. Participants can check out the newly modified Pro Shop by adding three golf simulators. After ribbon cutting, participants can stay and enjoy the sports bar.
Future Franklin Chamber Workshop
The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is working with Baird and the 3C Group to present a “Planning: Business Succession Strategy” workshop on Thursday from 8:30am to 10am.
This workshop is designed to assist business owners through succession planning strategies. Participants will learn how to protect their heritage, move smoothly, and ensure the future success of their business. People are also invited to network with local experts and gain actionable insights tailored to the unique needs of their businesses and communities.

Johnson County Home Sale Update
Johnson County continued to grow in stock in March and prices eased, according to data from FC Tucker Company.
Especially in Johnson County:
Available home inventory increased by 36.6%. Median home sales prices rose from just 1.6% increase compared to March 2024 to $320,000. The Johnson County home spent four days long at the market last year and sold in 22 days. Pending home sales fell 0.8% compared to March 2024.
