Joshua Jackson and Jody Turner Smith are on the same page for most of their divorce terms, but when it comes to primary schools, they still do it in court.
According to new legal documents obtained by TMZ, Joshua and Jody have launched a divorce settlement. According to the documents, the couple used mediators to come up with a temporary schedule to control the custody of their daughter Junho’s 50-50.
What they disagree with is… Junho is going to school, now Jody wants to force the judge to stick to a court order that will empower Joshua to choose Junho’s primary school.
In a document submitted by her lawyer, Diso Queen Laura Wasser, Jodie says she hopes her 5-year-old will be redirected to a new school next year, but Josh says she’s in the way. She says she has studied the new school and consulted with Joshua about it and confirmed it was close enough to his home — but she claims he is refusing to board.
Regarding other terms, Joshua pays $2,787 child support, but there is no monthly spouse support. Jody also asks him to pay $750,000 in attorney fees in the school fight.
We broke the story… Jody filed for divorce from Joshua in October 2023.
They met at his 2018 birthday party, and their relationship moved quickly with getting engaged in a few months – and they got their wedding license at the Beverly Hills courthouse… People knew they were romantically together.
