If you’ve been to Tiktok for the past few days, you may have seen a number of videos of people taking part in a trend called “Just Give Me My Money” but what is it?
Recently, I’ve seen people take on trends that focus on fashion, travel and even sunscreen. Still, the latest gimmicks to clean popular video apps are easygoing pranks that anyone can do.
All you need to do is to form circles and lines in a small group, repeat the phrase “just give me money” in a funny voice. Everyone involved in the video will say the phrase and receive enthusiastic applause from others.
Things go crazy when it comes to one participant who is not involved in the mischief. It has a very nasty response and no one else gets involved after they say the line and I don’t praise it.
This trend has become a virus in Tiktok over the past few days, and even Will Smith has joined in one video.
It’s not clear where the trend came from, but many claim that top streamer Kaycenat started it earlier this year during a broadcast with American rapper Dream Doll.
Some people think it came from the scene from the 2002 film “Paid in Full.”
Either way, people really enjoy the trend.
