Nairobi – The appointed MPs will hold a confirmation hearing at Mbeere North MP Geoffrey Ruku and Hanna Cheptumo, who were appointed to the Cabinet last month.
Luk will be replaced by Justin Muturi in the Ministry of Public Services, Human Capital Development and Special Programmes, and Cheptumo will lead the Ministry of Gender, Culture, Arts and Heritage.
Luk has been replaced by Justin Muturi, who was fired after a tense relationship with President Root.
In the notice, Chairman Moses Wetangara, who also serves as the chairman of the committee, shall consider the home’s report and table as tables within 28 days.
At 2pm, the committee reviews Luk for the role of public services.
At 4pm, Cheptumo will be vetted for the Ministry of Gender.
Candidates must provide the committee with academic clearance and compliance certificates from the following institutions: Ethics and Anti-Corruption Committee ((EACC), Kenya Revenue Agency (KRA), and Higher Education Loan Committee.
Others are the Criminal Investigation Bureau (DCI), the Registration Bureau of Political Party, the University Education Board and the Credit Board (CRB).
