Nairobi – Charles Ongued, a Mass at Requiem, paying tribute to the late Kassipur lawmaker, will be held at the Holy Family Cathedral in Nairobi.
The Funeral Planning Committee announced that the bodies of the murdered lawmakers will fly to the Kabunde runway for public viewing on Thursday.
He is scheduled to be buried on May 9th.
He was shot dead last Wednesday by an unknown gunman along Ngong Road. The attacker reportedly was on a bike.
Government pathologist Dr. Johansen O’Dour revealed that the murdered lawmaker was shot five times in the chest at close range.
Funeral plans are already underway, and funeral arrangements are being coordinated by the Legislature, county government and the ODM party.
Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga emphasized the importance of honoring the late leader with dignity and respect, urging residents to support peace and unity during their dead funerals.
