Rep. Lauren Beaubert’s embarrassing history lessons are about to try Grill’s director Oliver Stone on what President Trump’s ally Roger Stone actually did!
The Colorado lawmaker on Tuesday caused confusion during a Congressional hearing on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy over confusing Oliver’s Oscar winning film, “JFK,” with the theory of murder.
Check out the clip… Lauren asks Oliver about the book that accused Lyndon B. Johnson of being involved in the assassination of JFK.
The problem is… Oliver hasn’t written such a book. He, of course, directed a film based on a plot, but Roger was the author of the New York Times bestselling book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ.
Oliver appears confused at first before he can answer the question well… explains how his film amplifies conspiracy theory about LBJ’s alleged involvement in the post-assassination cover-up.
The director finally released a pile of JFK assassination files as part of his call to Congress and as part of his call to resume investigation into the JFK assassination.
Lauren was eventually fixed by journalist Jefferson Morley… and she apologises for the misunderstanding.
Luckily for Comblesswoman, there were no pop quizzes at the end of the class.
