Dwyane Wade has no one problem with the way last week’s Lebron James was published with Stephen A. Smith… In fact, he tells TMZ Sports that he did exactly the same thing if he was in the shoes of the Lakers superstar.
Of course, Bron sparked a feud with ESPN commentators, but the two were in the Crypto.com arena for a March 6 tilt with the Knicks in LA… after getting mad at the way Stephen A. previously spoke about Bronnie James.

Video from the scene shows LeBron earning an inch from Smith’s nose and yelling at him to stop him from becoming critical of his relationship with his eldest son.
When we got Wade in New York City on Thursday to consider the topic, he insisted that he “love” both guys… but he stubbornly defended his old teammate on this issue.
He told him he actually spoke to Smith after the argument, “I would have walked him the same way.”
On Smith’s part… he seemed to understand LeBron’s frustration, but he said in the “first take” morning after the incident, where James hoped he would face him in a more private environment.

Wade should also say more kind words about James during his chat in New York – even suggesting that the NBA’s greatest scorer ever gets a statue built in a very famous location.
