Priority is that world leaders need to be “ready to protect Ukrainian trade” – Video
The priority is to tell world leaders “we need to be prepared to protect Ukrainian trade.”
Keir Starmer ir has said from today’s international leaders, “a new commitment has been placed on the table.”
The priorities said:
The group I met this morning was a larger group than I had two weeks ago. This morning there was a stronger collective resolve, and a new commitment was placed on the table in relation to the coalition of willingness to defend the contract in relation to the broader point of collective defense and security in Europe.
So there is more commitment at the table this morning and there is an agreement that we will now move into the operational phase. So, the military talks, Thursday’s talks, will be the next focus.
This morning there was a broader agreement. That’s “yes”, but “yes” from Russia were not enough. And our collective pressure agreed to put pressure on Russia from all of us this morning.

UK taper says that the Ukraine Peace Project requires US cooperation
British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer said he must engage in US cooperation after being asked if Ukraine’s plans on Saturday in the event of a ceasefire with Russia to stake him.
“The US position hasn’t changed. I have made it clear that it needs to work with the US… We talk to the US on a daily basis,” Starmer told a news conference, adding that his national security adviser returned from the US on Saturday.

PA News Agency has issued a statement from Kiel’s Starmer from a Downing Street press conference.
Today I held calls with counterparts across Europe and leaders from the NATO Secretary-General and the EU Committee, the EU Council, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, to discuss support for Ukraine.
We emphasized Ukraine and its unwavering commitment to facing the future, over shoulder and beyond.
We welcomed the efforts of President Trump, Zelensky and their negotiating team, securing a prominent breakthrough in the peace agreement in Jeddah this week and welcoming President Zelensky’s commitment to the US proposal for an immediate and unconditional 30-day ceasefire to be covered by the Russian agreement.
We now agree that Ball was in the Russian court, and President Putin must prove he is serious about peace and sign up for a ceasefire on equal terms. The dithering and delays on President Trump’s proposal for a ceasefire in the Kremlin, as well as the continued wild attack on Russia’s Ukraine, completely rebutted Putin’s desire for peace.
Reaffirming Ukraine’s commitment to long-term security, he agreed that Ukraine must be able to protect itself and stop future Russian attacks.
A robust and reliable security arrangement is the best way to ensure that every transaction ends in a lasting peace. We agreed to re-convene military planners in the UK this week, and we have proceeded with a practical plan on how the military can help Ukraine’s future security.
We build up Ukraine’s own defense and military forces, ready to be deployed as a “coalition of will” in the case of peace agreements, and will help secure Ukraine by sea, sea and air.
In the event of a ceasefire, we highlighted the need for a strong surveillance arrangement to ensure that violations of the transaction are identified and called out.
If Putin refuses to agree to an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, he agrees that it will need to strengthen Ukraine, weaken Russian war machinery, and increase efforts to pressure Putin to come to the negotiation table.
To provide this, we accelerate military support, strengthen sanctions on Russia’s revenue, continue to explore all legal routes, and ensure that Russia will pay the damages it has inflicted on Ukraine.
We have agreed to continue these discussions as a group over the next few days to ensure fair and lasting peace in Ukraine. ”

Putin’s response to the ceasefire says he is clever, saying it is “not enough.”
Priorities answer questions from reporters after the press conference. In response to a journalist’s question, Priority said Putin’s response to the ceasefire was “not enough.”
Previously, the British Prime Minister said the military chief would meet in the UK on Thursday as plans for Ukraine’s peacekeeping forces move into the “operational phase.”
He held a press conference on Downing Street:
We agreed to accelerate our hands-on work to support potential deals. So now you’ll be taken to the operational stage.
Our army will be held here in the UK this week, swinging towards the back of the peace agreement and creating a strong and robust plan to ensure Ukraine’s future security. ”

In the 100-minute speech, there was a moment when Donald Trump elicited more applause from Democrats than Republicans. As the president told Congress last week, the way the US sent billions of dollars of military aid to Ukraine was when his political opponents slammed the Ukrainian flag and spread it out.
It was insights in the transformation of the Republican Party, from the Cold War profession to one of the “America-First” isolationists in the space of generations. Where Trump leads, many Republicans have been obedient, and have been on the embrace of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“The reversal is dramatic, and the willingness that comes with the Republican Party continues to be breathtaking,” said Charlie Sykes, political commentator and author of How the Right Wrecked the Heart. “For at least for a while, Republicans still seemed to support Ukraine. But now that Trump has completely reversed our foreign policy, it seems like it’s barely pushed back.”
Last month, Trump established a peace process that began with a meeting of top US and Russia diplomats in Saudi Arabia. He branded Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the “dictator” who is the president of Ukraine.
Along with Vice President J.D. Vance, he denounced Zelensky in his oval office. This prompted Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin to observe that Republican President Ronald Reagan, the eager enemy of Soviet invasion, was “must be rolling in his grave.” Trump has suspended offensive cyber operations against Russia and suspended military aid and information sharing with Ukraine until he agreed to a 30-day ceasefire.

Here’s Zelenskyy’s post about X this morning:
I received a report from Commander Silsky. Defense of our position in the Donetsk region and other frontline regions. All Ukrainian units are grateful for their resilience and effectiveness in destroying the Occupants. The situation in the Pokrovsk direction is stable.
Another note about the Kursk region. Operation of our forces in designated areas of Kursk region continues. The unit is performing tasks as needed. Thanks to the Ukrainian troops in the Kursk region, a considerable number of Russian troops have retreated from other directions. Our military continues to hold back Russian and North Korean groups in the Kursk region. There is no siege of our army.
They also observe directions along the eastern border of Ukraine, where Russian troops are building their troops. This shows our intention to attack our Sumy area. We recognize this and fight against it. I want all my partners to understand exactly what Putin is planning, what he is preparing and what he ignores.
The accumulation of Russian troops indicates that Moscow intends to continue to ignore diplomacy. It is clear that Russia is extending the war. We are ready to provide our partners with all the actual information about the situation in front, along the Kursk region and the border.
There was also a report on our missile program today. There are specific results. A long Neptune missile was tested and used successfully in combat. New Ukrainian missile, accurate strike. Range of 1000 km. Thank you to Ukrainian developers, manufacturers and military personnel. We continue our work to ensure Ukraine is safe.
Also today, the Ukrainian Defense Minister submitted a report on a new support package from our partners. Protects artillery supplies. I am grateful to all the partners I help. ”
