Mark Quebus is closing down allegations of misconduct imposed on him by his estranged wife, Aubrey Rainey.
The previous “Love is Blind” contestant says he’s been quiet up until now, as protecting the kids and sticking to the truth has always been his priority. But he wants to clarify one thing.
Mark says that he simply left a relationship that is not consistent with the peace and partnership he wants to raise his sons, and his focus is on being a consistent and essential father.
Despite claiming under Mark’s IG farewell post that she had no idea she was split, Mark says the decision to separate was clearly communicated before he left. In fact, he even agreed to a custody schedule before anything was made public.
He says he hasn’t filed for divorce yet, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t really have any real or respect for her, and he wasn’t going to blind her.
When asked why Aubrey commented that the breakup was “news to her,” Mark says he can’t speak for her, but he has high emotion and admits that they both have gone through a lot. He told everything directly before everything was made public.
“I understand how emotions shape how things remember, but my intentions were not to hurt or blind anyone. I’m not here to assert my timeline or opinion. I’m focused on peace, parenting and protecting what’s most important. Boys are the most important thing right now.”
Aubrey fought back at Mark’s announcement of farewell, saying, “This was not a conversation or discussion. He got caught up in a woman and had to cover the truck to maintain his “public image.” I was not involved in this statement or the news.
As you may remember, Mark first appeared in the first season of “Love is Blind,” where he was engaged to Jessica Batten.
It wasn’t until after the show that he met Aubrey. They tied the knot in 2022 and their two sons were together.
We reached out to Aubrey… there are no words so far.
