Luigi Mangione should not let the Fed seek the death penalty… Message to defense judges

Luigi Mangion says Uncle Sam wants to kill him as a political stunt… and his defense asks the judge to stop the Fed from pursuing the death penalty if he is found guilty.
In a new legal document obtained by TMZ, Luigi’s lawyers argue that the federal lawsuit against him is political, arbitrary, whimsical and a break from established death penalty protocols.
Luigi’s defense also tears social media posts from Attorney General Pam Bondy and the Department of Justice… The post claims that Luigi appears to be already considered guilty.
The post states, “Luigi Mangion’s murder of Brian Thompson – the innocent man and father of two young children – was a planned, cold-blooded assassination that shocked America. After careful consideration, I sought the federal prosecutors to stop the Trump agenda and to the death penalty in this case to stop America’s security.
Luigi’s lawyers say Bondi is contaminating a potentially large ju judge pool with her official statement…and they argue that she is only seeking the death penalty as she is accused of being murdered.

Mangion’s lawyers also ask the court to hand over documents and communications between the government and “any defending the death penalty or penalty on behalf of a business, corporate interests, lobbyists or other parties.”
