Marcus Jordan admits to substance abuse issues… After DUI arrest

Marcus Jordan now admits he has a substance abuse problem… weeks after he was arrested for possession of ketamine and driving under the influence.
In a new court application obtained by TMZ Sports, Jordan and his lawyers have revealed that the 34-year-old is dealing with “challenges” related to his “alcohol/substance use” … and now he wants the judge to order him to complete the pre-examination drug abuse education and treatment intervention programme in an effort to support these issues.
A Jordanian lawyer argued that the program “not only benefits him personally, but also serves the community by reducing the likelihood of future crime.” They added to the document that Michael’s son is “suitable for treatment.”
According to the documents, Marcus would waive the right to speedy trial if the judge grants the motion.
Court records show that there is no date for hearing to discuss the matter yet.

Marcus is currently counting one felony of possession of ketamine, a misdemeanor of DUI with property damage, and one misdemeanor of resisting an officer. He filed an innocent plea to all three charges in early February.
Of course, the incident stems from a February 4 run-in with a police officer… he said he and his Lamborghini Urus were stuck around 1am on several railroad tracks in Maitland, Florida.
According to the incident report, authorities said he threw him behind the bar after showing some signs of addiction and failed outdoor sobriety tests. Body camera videos from the scene were later released, showing that Jordan occasionally discusses with the officers.
He only commented once on this issue… On February 6th, he wrote on his Instagram page that his priorities were his shop, Trophy Room, and that he “does not comment on recent media stories and my personal life.”
