A new trailer for “Superman” has dropped…and it has fans seen Crypto’s Super Dog longer – and peering inside the Fortress of Solitary.
The new, roughly five minutes’ clip will be released on Thursday, featuring much of the same footage from the trailer dropped in December, but there is also plenty of new content.

Check out the clip… The first three and a half minutes will feature an extension of the opening scene of the original trailer, played by David Corenswet, in which Superman calls his dog Krypto to save him.
Rather than licking his face and pulling him safely like in the original trailer, Crypto is looking to play with his owner – jumping over his entire body, biting his arm, acting like a typical big dog who doesn’t know how strong it is.
Ultimately, Crypto drags him to the Fortress of Solitary… A group of helpful robots detailing his massive injuries (14 fractures and damage to the internal organs) before raising him using radiation from the sun. However, the soup appears to be quite painful from the treatment.
The rest of the trailer looks like an original scene… again showing fans Nicholas Holt’s Lex Luther and Nathan Fillion’s man Gardner.
Warner Bros. is driving big marketing in this trailer… because it should perform before every screening of “Minecraft Movie.”
You will need to wait if the strategy will pay off or if another reboot of the franchise proves to be DC’s Kryptonite. “Superman” will open in theaters on July 11th.
