April 10th, 2025 2:32pm PDT
Former Texas Longhorns star Isaiah Bond (one of the prospects for the upcoming NFL Draft’s top receiver) turned to police on Thursday over a warrant for sexual assault, TMZ Sports confirmed.
A spokesperson for the Frisco Police Station said that a 21-year-old who surrendered in the morning spoke to us and posted Bond, was released some time later.
Details surrounding the case were not immediately available, but Bond said in a statement Thursday afternoon that the allegations against him were “patently false.”
“I have been working fully with the authorities and willingly remain an active participant in the investigation,” Bond said. “Unfortunately, such claims have proven harmful to all involved and have no full reviews. We recommend all booking judgments until the authorities provide a full report based on the truth and evidence.”
The Bond – the expected second round pick – was in Green Bay, where he just met with the Packers on Wednesday.
Wideout declared for the NFL Draft in January after he recorded five touchdowns and 540 reception yards for the Longhorns in the 2024-25 season.
Bond previously played for Nick Savan and the Alabama Crimson Tide between his freshman and sophomore.
