Nicki Minargy targeted on a “swatting” call… Law enforcement responds to empty houses

Superstar rapper Nicki Minaj is the latest famous target for this week’s “swatting” call… as law enforcement officials flocked her LA area property in response to reports of a shooting at her home on Wednesday night.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ… Just after 7pm yesterday, the LA County Sheriff’s Department received a call reporting the attack at a hidden hill residence where Nicky lives.
Deputies rushed to the scene… They couldn’t find anyone at home and there were no issues in the area.
The Los Angeles Times reported an unidentified person called the Sheriff’s Business Line rather than 911, reporting that someone had shot a black woman at Nicky’s address, and that the two were still on the scene. Cole was later classified as swatting.
Minaj had previously dealt with a swatting target in which callers report cases to trigger a massive law enforcement response at Target in August and July 2023… LA County Councilman was said to have been shot dead in her home, and Nikki’s child was abused in the July incident.
The originator of the Wednesday night incident has not been identified.
This follows a tragic attack event in Atlanta. There, a 911 caller told police that a naked woman was being attacked in the residence where the rapper’s young scooter was located – when officers responded, he ran down his back and tore his femoral artery, later died as a result of an injury. No illegal activities were found at home. The caller was later identified as a one-off reality television contestant, and she was arrested and accused of falsely reporting it to the police.
Nicky and her family are said to have not even been on the West Coast at the time of the incident.
