The armed man again invaded several communities in the Boccos local government area of Plateau province, killing more than 10 people, Boccos stakeholders confirmed.
While the State Police Command and Operation Safe Haven have not responded to development yet, Farmasum Fuddang, chairman of Vanguard’s Bokkos Cultural Development Council (BCDC), said the attack took place on Wednesday night. They started from Mangore and moved to the Duffa, Manguna, Harti and Tadai communities.
Remember that a similar incident took place in the Ruwi community six days ago. Ten people were shot dead there, and three others were injured while observing the Wake Keep ceremony.
In the latest incident, Fuddang said, “There was an attack yesterday and five villages were affected. It started in Mongor, but the attackers were chased by security forces. They then moved to Daffo to attack the community.
“In just a week, we lost over 20 community members due to these looting terrorists. On April 2 alone, they killed more than 10. All have minimized the casualties thanks to Nigerian military and police for a quick response to the victims. SEMA, and the Nigerian Red Cross, will provide prompt relief to displaced and injured people.”
