The crime count in Oshkosh city continues to follow the downward trend in 2025.
The Oshkosh Police Station has released crime statistics since February, and the numbers continue to be positive for the city.
Of the nine crimes tracked in these updates, only two sexual offences and robbery have been on the rise since this period last year.
In 2025 there were 16 sex crimes and two and one robbery respectively, compared to 2024 up to this point.
Other figures include a 100% reduction in homicides and a 70% reduction in car theft.
Aggravated assaults, simple assaults, robbery and theft also fell at least 23% compared to 2024.
In February, Oshkosh PD also dealt with 10 OWI arrests, eight weapons law violations, and 45 drug or drug-related crimes.
With the release of this data, Oshkosh Police Station said, “Citizen safety has always been a top priority and officers continue to work diligently to ensure this safety and improve the quality of life for all.”
