Terrence Gomez has been promoted to president. Gomez has been working with M/G since 2013, serving as Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer. He has been in the transportation industry since 1978 with Agri-Trans Corporation and AEP River Operations.
Mark Czarnecki has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Czarnecki joined the company in 2017 as Vice President of Sales. He has worked in the maritime industry for 45 years.
Benjamin Amos was promoted to Chief Financial Officer two years after being hired as Financial Planning and Analytics Manager. He has over 10 years of financial experience in the automotive and renewable energy industries.

Pete Norgeot retired from his job as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Effective Entergy on May 1st.
Norgeot has been with a utility company since 2014. He led corporate operations, power generation, commercial management and large development teams for nearly 40 years.
Kimberly Cook Nelson takes over COO. She serves as Entelghee’s Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer, overseeing four nuclear power plants and five reactors. Cook-Nelson has been with Entergy since 1996 and started as a design engineer before moving to plant leadership in 2001.
She has earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, master’s degree in engineering management and master’s degree in business administration all from the University of New Orleans.
John Dinelli, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Entergy’s Nuclear Business, will be promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer.
Dinelli began working at Entergy in 1991 as an engineering intern at the Indian Point Energy Center. He has been Chief Operating Officer of Entergy’s nuclear business since 2021.
He received his Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University.
Baton Rouge
Bart Folse has been appointed CEO of the Louisiana Independent Hospital Network Coalition.
The group is a collaboration between over 25 independent Louisiana hospitals and providers, which do not belong to a large system.
Fors spent the past four years as Chief Operating Officer of Bayou Bend Health System, a Franklin Foundation Hospital. He is the founder and lead consultant of Group 213 Strategy Partners.
He received his Alliance’s Bachelor of Health Sciences and a Master of Business Administration from Nichols State University.

Brent Toups is hired as sales manager and vice president at Luba Casualty Insurance Co.
Toups has over 25 years of experience in employee compensation insurance, and most recently as vice president of the insurance business at Compsource Mutual.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Nichols State University.
Jeff Skaggs has been promoted to Luba’s Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Loss Management.
Skaggs has been involved in the company since 2022. He has over 38 years of industry experience, including serving as regional vice president at Texas Mutual.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Government and Politics from the University of Texas, Dallas, and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Human Resources Development from LSU.
