The latest Russian attack broke another record with 550 missiles that rain overnight in Ukraine
Ukrainian authorities said it was hanging over Kiev after a night of intensive Russian strike that struck almost every district of the capital on Friday morning.
Dark Time was once again separated by air defense guns, drones bustle and staccatos of huge explosions. Ukraine said Russia fired a record 550 drones and 11 missiles during the long night bombing.
The strike came hours after a call between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. The US president then said he was “disappointed” that Putin was not prepared to end Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The representative governor of the South Rostov region said she was killed in a strike in a village not too far from the Ukrainian border.
Russia’s one-night airstrikes broke another record, the Ukrainian air force said.
The Air Force attacked Kiev, the “main target of the strike,” resulting in more than eight hours of raid alerts.
The Ukrainian foreign minister denounced the “worst and worst” night in the capital, saying “Moscow must be slapped without delay with the harshest sanctions.”
“An absolute terrifying sleepless night in Kiev. One of the worst ever,” writes Andrii Sybiha in X.
Noting that he came right after Putin’s call with Trump, Sibiha added that.”[Putin] He does it intentionally” and “it clearly shows his disregard for America and everyone who called for an end to the war.”
Footage shared on social media by Ukrainian provincial emergency services showed firefighters fighting to wipe out the Kiev fire after a massive overnight attack in Russia.
At least 23 people have been injured in the attack on Kyiv, damaging railway infrastructure, and buildings and cars have been burning across the capital, according to Ukrainian authorities.

Friday’s attack was the latest in a series of massive Russian air attacks on Ukraine that has intensified in recent weeks as ceasefire talks have largely stagnated.
The war in Ukraine has been raging for more than three years since Russia began its full-scale invasion in February 2022.
Following a conversation with Putin on Thursday, Trump said “no progress” to end the fight.
“I’m very disappointed in today’s conversation with Putin. I’m very disappointed because I don’t think he’s there,” Trump said.
“I’m just saying I don’t think he’s going to stop, and that’s just too bad.”
The Kremlin has repeatedly said it will continue to try to eliminate “the root cause of war in Ukraine.” Putin attempted to return Ukraine to the realm of Russian influence, saying last week that “the whole of Ukraine belongs to us.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Voldymi Zelensky said he wanted to talk to Trump about the supply of U.S. arms on Thursday after a decision in Washington to halt shipments of key weapons to Ukraine.
Kiev warned that the move would hinder Ukraine’s ability to protect against escalating airstrikes at the Frontline and Russian advances.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said he had completely paused the flow of weapons, saying, “We’re giving weapons” and “We’re.” He accused former President Joe Biden of “we are arming our entire nation on them and we must make sure that we are sufficient for ourselves.”
