Artificial intelligence is still a fairly new technology, and there’s plenty of room for mistakes… This may explain why legendary baseball player and civil rights hero Jackie Robinson, according to U.S. Congressman, has drawn a story about his time in the U.S. Army from the Department of Defense website.
A Republican representative from Kentucky’s James Kommer spoke on Wednesday, “TMZ Live.” So we grilled him what he had to plug into an AI scraper to pull Robinson’s entry.
When questioning the terminology used to perform the search, Comer does his best to explain his belief that Trump and his administration have no history of racism, and that is not the image they want to project.

But he stands in his position… At the end of the day he says that new technology is bound to making mistakes – especially when dealing with things as vast as the government, especially as the Pentagon.
He also reveals that, after all, the mistake has been admitted, and the story reappeared on DOD’s government site on Wednesday afternoon.
