Relocating a company is a way for people to learn, grow and acquire the global perspectives they need to become senior executives of complex or global organizations. Some employees are looking for the opportunity and do so all the time. But somehow, in the wake of the pandemic, this bit of HR wisdom has been lost, and the global rate of corporate relocation has been falling.
Many HRO Today providers struggle in this new reality with dozens of bakers researching relocation service providers. A recent LinkedIn report by Mastodon Moveme in 2024 shows that 62% of respondents were willing to move for career advancement or better pay. The actual percentage of the move in 2022 was 1.6%.
Organizations should decide whether future global executives need to move to gain this experience by changing jobs, or whether they will accept less skilled employees managing a multicountry environment that is not sensitive to cultural issues.
Every year, HRO runs a customer satisfaction survey of a dozen bakeries for relocation service providers today. In 2025, 155 survey respondents took time from their busy schedules to provide valuable feedback to fellow HR executives who rely on Baker’s dozens of ratings each year as part of the partnership selection process. To help businesses procure the best suited to their background screening needs, Hro has ranked top providers in the industry for over a decade.
This presentation summarizes some of the findings from a dozen customer satisfaction surveys for relocation providers over the past five years. This includes service usage, most used services, and average transaction size, along with other metrics.
For each question in the survey, there is a detailed research report for a complete, customized report that includes a comparison of each provider in the survey. Contact Gale Tedeschi at sharedxpertise at gale.tedeschi@sharedxpertise.com.
