The conflict has become very intense when two sailors got caught up in a fierce argument while out in Florida waters earlier this week, officers say they are now investigating the issue.
The incident happened on Tuesday… Fisherman Gage Towls was approached by Brock Horner, a self-proclaimed charter captain with apparently carved engraved items.
In the video Towles shared on his YouTube page, Horner appears to be upset with Towles, in the way he and several others interacted with him as he passed under the bridge a few days ago.
Horner asked him over and over again why he hit him. Towls said he didn’t, but those around him did — they peered at the speed he piloted by them.
The guys insisted for a few minutes… before Horner jumped into the Towls boat in a truly majestic way.
Towls pleaded the man to “cool” – and he repeatedly apologized, screaming, “I’m a child!”
After some intense moments, Towls mercilessly puts Horner back on his boat…and the argument subsides.
The Punta Gorda Police Station said in a statement Wednesday that a police report relating to the case has been filed…and the detective is currently investigating the matter. Added that the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and the U.S. Coast Guard are helping with the investigation.
So far, no arrests have been made.
TMZ Sports reached out to Towles for comment, but we have not heard a reply yet.
