Grant Larsen, who tricked his girlfriend Ashley on Netflix’s reality TV show Temptation Island, reveals his main reasons for questioning his relationship on the show.
Grant told TMZ: He worried that Ashley might not have the patience and kindness to be a stepmother to a child, and those conversations were not final edited, talking about this for hours with other contestants and confessors.
Grant says Ashley didn’t treat him with respect and wasn’t “soft” with him…and they were red flags, which led to his infidelity as he overconsidered their long-term relationship.
He says his parents must be unconditionally loving and supportive…and during filming he didn’t know if Ashley had it for her.
Another red flag… Grant, when he first met in Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, Ashley had him see if other women could make him interested, and ironically after 18 months, she asked him to do the exact same thing.

Despite these concerns, TMZ learns Grant, Ashley returns together six months after the show, and he buys her an engagement ring… but never suggests.

Grant and Ashley eventually split up and he has spent time creating a daddy girl swimline called Amora Beachwear… His brand partner has Betterhelp and Blessings in a backpack that he pledged to donate 10% of all his purchases to charity.
Moving forward, Grant says he plans to be extremely selective and cautious, saying that he is dating for marriage and wants to find someone who can be a good stepmother for his 6-year-old daughter.
