Shocking sex scene cut from the “White Lotus” finale

The finale of the “The White Lotus” season was full of chin-dropping shin twists… but one of the biggest was discarded.
Mike White, author/creator of HBO’s hit series, was revealed in “The White Lotus Official Podcast,” where Piper Ratliff and Zion Lindsay were supposed to have an astounding sex scene in the final episode.
The two characters, played by Sarah Catherine Hook and Nicholas Duverneux, never met each other during the show…but according to White, Piper was to lose his virginity to Zion.
White says that while Piper spent the night in a Buddhist monastery, it was meant to realize that she had sex for the first time and needed to “do this again.”

Earlier in the season, Piper’s brother Saxon chuckled her about her lack of experience.
Eventually, White added another 10 minutes to the episode, cutting the scene from the script, with “Rom-com Vibe” settling in the middle of Piper’s father, Tom Ratliff, not planning on killing his family.
The show is known for its incredible moments, but that scene really made the fans’ minds spin… there was no doubt about that.
