Los Angeles fans not only get a glimpse into Shohei Ohtani’s best baseball player, but also see the best athletes on the planet… At least, that’s according to former World Series champion Jerry Hairston Jr.
The longtime big leaguer sat at TMZ Sports the day after the Dodgers designated batsman beat the Braves on a walk-off home run…and he declared the superstar officially the world’s top sportsman.

Los Angeles doesn’t often oppose the Otani monster on Wednesday night at Dodger Stadium with Atlanta.
In addition to the explosion that earned tilt, he also had two other hits… he raised his season batting average to a whopping .333. At one point, he’s going to take the LA pitching mound… something that hasn’t been lost at Hairston Jr.
“He’s done so many things well,” the former Dodger said.
