4:38pm PT – Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman tells TMZ … “By denying Silhan Silhan’s parole… Governor Newsom took his younger age at the time of the crime (24), taking on his previous arrests and lack of convictions, his difficult prison success in the Middle East, and he took office in China. Scale, his age (77), his decline in health, time in prison (54).
He continues…
He says: “In contrast, while Menendez’s brothers have many of the same positive traits of Silhan Silhan in favour of parole and responsiveness, they have never accepted to attempt to potentially impose on the forgery of their stories in their stories, which are about lying about defense and diving in self-defense and diving, and attempting to poison their mothers before their father’s mother who is giving their father’s rape, as murder cases, if Silhan maintains the risk of unreasonable danger to public safety, the Menendez brothers who have never completely cleaned lies in more than 30 years will also constitute a risk of unreasonable danger to the community.
Silhan Silhan’s lawyers are calling for Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman…The new DA says he has some bad information about the RFK assassin.
Hochman has tried to use the Sirhan case to keep the Menendez brothers behind the bar for their freedom… but Sirhan’s lawyers say Hochman is confused about some basic facts.
Angela Berry, who represents Silhan, tells TMZ… Hochman is pushing a common misconception about Silhan when he says Silhan admitted to the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy and then claimed his innocence, and she says Hochman is making an unfair comparison with Eric and Lyle.
Sirhan’s lawyer says the client’s parole transcript reflects his lack of remembering details of the RFK shooting… despite her claiming that Hochman was saying at a newspaper conference on the Menendez case.

Additionally, Berry says it’s frustrating to hear Hochman perpetuate misconceptions about Silhan’s alleged confession… She says he has remained innocent for 50 years, and now Hochman is helping the false story come to life.
She says that Silhan never flat out shooting an RFK… She says she remembers being at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on the night the RFK was shot in 1968.
Sirhan’s lawyers claim that doctors suffered from PTSD since Sirhan was a war-torn Palestinian child, which has affected his short-term memories.
Silhan’s claim, denied parole by Gov. Gavin Newsom several years ago, means that the Menendez brothers should be treated the same… But Eric, Lyle and Silhan’s legal teams all say it’s a comparison of apples and oranges.
