Morgan Warren’s “SNL” says “The Kingdom of God”… while trolling Trump

“Saturday Night Live” didn’t miss the beat at last night’s Cold Open… Following last week’s headlinemaking appearance on the show, it’s targeting both Donald Trump and Morgan Warren.
James Austin Johnson recreated his role as Trump and laughed at his tariff plans.
“I want to go there,” Trump said, holding up artwork showing cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets that look happy on a sunny beach. “You’ll take me to the Kingdom of God, right?”

As you know, the joke referenced Instagram stories. The “Whiskey Glasses” hitmaker appeared as a music guest after leaving the “SNL” stage with the end credits of last week’s episode.
Shortly after his apparently early exit, he posted a photo of the private jet along with the caption “Get Me To God’s Country.” The post swirled rumors that he was angry about his appearance on “SNL” or that he had issues with the cast.
Even longtime cast member Kenan Thompson was in turmoil… On Monday he said he doesn’t know “what goes through people’s minds when they decide to do something like that.”

But… NBC sources confirmed to TMZ that Morgan has no bad blood even after the “SNL” writers trolled the situation. We were told that everyone had a good time…and Morgan finished the stage the same way he did during the dress rehearsal.
Country crooners seem to be kicking out of the fuss, and now they sell “Get Me To God’s Country” products.
