Today, Deputy Chief Christopher Landau welcomed the first group of African refugees to the United States.
This incredible achievement in directing Secretary Rubio responds to President Trump’s call to prioritize resettlement of the vulnerable group of US refugees facing unfair racism in South Africa.
Today, the United States is sending a clear message in collaboration with the administration’s America’s First Foreign Policy Agenda that America will take action to protect victims of racism. We stand up as these refugees are building a better future for themselves and for the children of America.
There is no need to fear seizing property without compensation or becoming a victim of violent attacks due to ethnicity. In the coming months, we will welcome even more African refugees and help them rebuild their lives in our great nation.
