“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson hasn’t done well in his battle with Alzheimer’s… and his son Jace says there’s no reason to sugarcoat this topic.
This is the deal… Late last year, Jace made a sad announcement that Phil had Alzheimer’s… and the 78-year-old was in a rough state. Since then, he has been asked daily by fans about his father.
“The number one question wherever I go: ‘How about dad?'” Jace said on an April 2 episode of the “The Embarrassment of the Robertson Family” podcast. “Now I’m just giving you a dull truth. I say ‘Not good’. ”
Jace said the family was trying to be positive about the situation…but at this point it was like that.

In December, Jace said doctors said Phil suffered from a blood disorder causing all sorts of problems and that was only getting worse.
Phil appeared in the popular “Duck Dynasty” from 2012 to 2017 and founded the Duck Commander Company.
It was announced in January that the show will return in nearly eight years, following Willie, Cory Robertson and the adult children of today.

Sources related to the show say that even though Phil was healthy, Phil was never included. You know, he sparked a controversy between homophobic and racist remarks in a 2014 interview with GQ magazine, which temporarily stopped him.
