El Fasher/El Malha/Bara/Babanousa/Wad Banda/El Sunut/Um Adara/en Nuhoud/Tawila/Jebel Marra/Zamzam Camp – Paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has been accused of killing at least eight civilians and being accused of being covered in the heartthy neighbourhood of the capital. A day ago, the Sudanese Army (SAF) reported that another RSF shelling barrage had killed 47 civilians.
El Fasher Resistance Committee added that the attack targets the strategic portion of the city, with women and children among the dead. 20 other people were injured, some of which critically described as a return to a “strategic march” in which the group aimed to assault the city.
On Monday, the SAF reported even greater losses. The heavy artillery bombardment killed 47 civilians, including a woman, according to the 6th Infantry Division, based in North Darfur.
Reports from the ground show that among the victims there were four judges who died after the house burned up, and a woman who was killed while carrying the baby. The baby’s relatives have not been identified yet.
SAF allegedly caused the RSF to fire around 250 120 caliber mortar into the Pamel neighborhood in the city, due to the barrage of RSF.
The injured civilians were transferred to hospitals and health centres throughout El Fasher for treatment.
Sudanese Air Force military aircraft attacked RSF targets on the El Marha region of North Darfur, 210km north of El Fascher, and on Monday at the Roses in North Kordofan.
A video shared by activists on X (formerly Twitter) shows thick smoke rising above both towns.
In South Kordofan Baba Noosa, it is reported that SAF has performed aviation operations on the RSF position, but details are unknown.
Movements of the RSF forces have been observed in Wad Banda, El Sunut and Um Adara. Local sources fear that the RSF is preparing for a new attack.

Three million people have been evacuated in North Darfur
An independent report confirms that an estimated 3 million displaced people have fled west following the escalation and artillery fire of the battle between the SAF and RSF between the SAF and RSF over the past week.
Reports show that recent escapes are an overwhelming resource for the Tawila and Jebel Mara regions where many are seeking evacuation.
A recently published report by the Humanitarian Laboratory (HRL) at Yale University School of Public Health, which includes detailed satellite images, supports “a large fleet moving from Zamzam to Tawira.”
As Radiodabanga reported Tuesday, “at least 3 million” displaced civilians are fleeing west, an overwhelming resource for the Tawira and Jebelmara regions.
The flow of newly evacuated and almost relocated people includes at least half a million former residents of the Samzam camp, which has been effectively wiped out.
Displaced people have suffered from malnutrition since the beginning of the war. Last June, the camp “slamming threshold was exceeded.”
Hundreds have been killed, thousands have been injured, and what commentators have called the camp’s “last catastrophe.”
