Chef Gordon Ramsay House serves with a “swatting” call… cops find what to find food

Officers say the prank tried to throw Gordon Ramsay into a fake pan… calling a fake report of the famous chef’s shooting at his Los Angeles home.
Law enforcement sources say TMZ… LAPD officials answered a call at 8:40pm on Tuesday after an unknown person was called in a report that they would be burned at Gordon’s mansion in Bel Air.
However, when officers arrive they allegedly found few plates out of place… Police say they spoke to a neighbor who confirmed nothing happened. Our sources say Ramsay wasn’t home at the time.
Police choked it into yet another “swatting” incident. In this case, callers reported fake crimes to trigger large-scale law enforcement responses to go to the target. The detective has begun an investigation into the Ramsay case…but no one has been arrested so far.
Swatting was a consistent issue in LA County. You may remember… Two weeks ago, officers flocked to the pads of Nicki Minaj’s hidden hills in the LA area following reports of a shooting that turned out to be fakes.
And last year, Jennifer Aniston was also victim of a police miscarriage. Other celebrities in LA include Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
TMZ reached out to Gordon’s rep… No words so far.
